1j or 2j conversion in an r32 - just wondering if anyone has heard of this and whats involved? was toying with this instead of an r34... with something like the bee*r r324 kit tho. i saw a top secret s15 with this engine once. seemed pretty good. also need specs for these motors - more in the weights if anyone knows the difference. With the limited searching ive done the 1j seems to be the lighter of the 2 and has more torque? didnt seem right... also 1j is apparently lighter than the rb20? any and all info is welcome Also chris if its not too much trouble id like to measure the engine mount to tailshaft distance on your car. theres rumours of the distance being the same as the nissan setups... the freak has a plan  |

 2JZ-GTE Alone = 269kg Getrag Six Speed = 69kg TOTAL = 338Kg 1JZGTE Alone = 236kg R154 five speed = 56kg TOTAL = 292kg Datsun RB25DET with Gearbox = 317kg Not sure if any of that helps |

...also, just rang our local rta engineer today, to satisfy a curiosity and as it turns out the weight of a 180 is in the right group for a 1j also.
Now i have several options, with the latest being highest on my list as the 180 is already setup with suspension mods + a skyline diff, and it was going to recieve a new paintjob anyway.
...i swear i have ADD with the ammount of crap i come up with
