Mayb some of you FC boys who have removed the stock air box and replaced it with a POD might be able to help me out. Im after the air intake pipe that sits on top of the fan shroud and goes into the air box.
Cheers

alright, my car has a blitz pod filter no standard intake, if you've seen the engine bay of an fc you'd see where the pod sits its almost in a little box with zero air flow, it seems like the only air it can get is whats in the box and what comes from the engine bay so its probably sucking in just hot air, has anyone tried to fix this? using intake pipe? or cutting holes? etc? it looks like I could hole saw a hole underneath the pod then run a pipe under the headlight and to the front bar then box the pod in aluminium or stainless or fibre glass/carbon fibre, any thoughts?

yea, ive considered making a sealed box n cutting a hole underneath the pod n feeding a pipe out thru the front bar. but ull have to relocate ya washer bottle and making a sealed box to fit will be a bit of an effort. the area is a bit awkward. not only that im a lazy mofo aswell

I understand the lazyness completely, but I guess I'll just give it ago... in time anyway...
