I have a set of 20valve pistons if anyone is interested. The engine was pulled down to make a turbo motor out of. now I have a set of 20piston doing nothing.
they have only done 96000K's in a black top 20valve
the engine was still perfect running condition when pulled down.

is it wise to run used pistons in a different engine?? I wouldnt think so, hence no bites on the bait. New rings and a hone at bare minimum i would think. Cheers Steve

No reason you can't use the pistons provided they are the right size and the fly cuts etc are right as well (ie they are from the same or a compatable motor). You would need to change the rings and hone the bores (as if you wouldn't do these when the motor is apart anyways) so that they seal properly.
