drift days are only as expensive as u make them, say u buy all brand name stuff of course all the bits on a car will cost a fortune. I am still drifting my car i/ve had it for 1 1/2 years been drifting it for 1 year, slowely i am adding to it so it goes better all up minus a dodgy diff install (cost the me the Earth) i have spent and owing about about just over 1000 that includes all my drift rims i now own bits for the car i have needed, this dose not include random bits brakeing due to age such as all the bushes it the rear end and new 2nd hand shocks n stuff like that. but can u tell me a motor sport that is cheaper then drifting and is as fun. also IF u are good enough u can step up and play with the big boys in the DA or SD series but if u have the money and the talent then u should be abel to swing some foem of sponsership

Garlo... He is talking about evan crashing his car at the d-day and then having to buy a new vehicle as a result of the crash. Not the Dday expenses themselves. One could say the 'D for D'EXPENSIVE' comment was merely a figure of speech in relation to the larger problem at hand.

The problem is really Evan and his inability to make UP HIS MIND what he actually wants...I think he's too love sick to know what he wants.....women do that every time!

it would turn anyone off! ive been through a few cars now and with the money ive spent i could have almost had a v-spec r34 gtr... (in the last 5 years ive had an s14 and 2 x 180s). Writing off a modded car is horrible feeling, not only for the fact that you lose something you put massive amounts of your own work into but the amount of money that usually gets lost - Especially on a track where insurance does not cover you. I have had to come to terms with this again, but luckily it was covered by insurance. Now im trying out compromise: Have a relatively fun, mildly modded, reliable and comfortable car without spending 50% of my pay every week on mods or tyres. All well and good when your younger but when you reach mid-late 20s, you need to look at the bigger picture Thats my ramble for the time being...
