hey just n update on the progress of drf13b .....took my car 2 rx 2 get tuned last week after rebuilding and running my new motor. we strapped it on the dyno n opened it up. unfortunately the standard internal waste gate on the s4 turbo are a bit restrictive(as Jesse knows having the same problem with his car)With the but plugs removed out of the rear mufflers anything over 2/3Rd's throttle and the boost would sky rocket!! So we stuck the baffles back in n tried again. this time we could floor it but it just got way 2 restrictive in the top-end. the result was a surprising 240rwhp at 5300rpm!! the verdict....i need an external waste gate. That way it will come on boost faster and hold it, all the way 2 8000rpm!!!! i will let u know how it goes when it is done ,now its back 2 saving up money again  |

more progress.............. External waste gate is on and drf13b has turned in2 a tyre shedding monster...when the clutch doesn't slip... i took the baffles out of the exhaust n gave it a bit of a thrash on the weekend. as soon as you plant the right foot boost goes up 2 about 8psi and the arse of the car wants 2 take over the front!! this happened 2 me in 3rd gear at 120km/h  i took Jesse 4 a burn init and i think he was impressed but ounce the clutch got some heat in2 it it stated slipping so again Ive got 2 save up 4 a new clutch ....  after the clutch i will get it dyno'd on 14psi n see what she can crank out ;D |

ive been saving as hard as i can 4 a new clutch but i came across a 2nd hand set of jic coilovers n i couldnt say no!!  it made a hell of a diference 2 the handling of my car its soo much more controllable a higher speeds, tested them out with chris last weekend in the wet n had a ball ;D cant wait 2 get a new clutch sik of running low boost!! Oh yeah thanx heeps 2 bridge 4 helpn me out "again" with funds!!  |
