FYI, Snatch is my car's name... White Pearl 1993 Nissan 180sx. Quite a few mods, mostly HKS intake/exhaust plus a few other non-intrusive stuff. She's got new coilovers, HD Systems HS type, which I'll be writing an article on the installation of for www.driftpimp.com, if I get around to it, so you'll see pictures then. But back to my point... I just purchased a 2nd hand 400W Clarion sub... which I've attached my previous bought 800W 4chan amp to... taking the total cost of my sub, inc box & amp, to $100. I RULE SO HARD. As a side note, does anyone know anyone selling some front speakers, probably 6" splits. Good quality, good price necessary. Feel free to recommend some new ones, as they don't seem that expensive, so I might go that way. I guess I'll post a few pics/more info if people request it.

Today's sacrifice. Guess which one's stock, and which is the coilover. Hrm, those fronts might need a little lowering. SR20DET powaaaaa! Another SR20DET. Pictures. Yes.

Coilovers - if you want the HD Systems, get them direct from the importer/distributor www.otomoto.com.auAs for 2nd hand, I've got no idea. Driftpimp (Ziggy) might share his opinion on buying 2nd hand coilovers if he reads this, though. forum.silviansw.com is a great place for info on all things S13/4/5 I will bring it into town again sometime soon... gotta fix the rear suspension before I take it too far, not even liking having to drive it to work and back at the moment.

I got my hyperdampers at a fraction of the cost of new, but i would definately recommend budgeting a full rebuild before puting em on (about 140 bucks each). i dont trust one importer/second hand retailer from the next. They all tell you what they want to sell the parts so be careful. Only thing to look for in 2nd hand ones is that the strut shafts are not scratched or bent and pillow ball tops are not flogged out. Comparing the HDs to the hyperdampers, they are a bit softer than the hks items and they dont have the "pillowball" tops. It depends on what your after. Bang for your buck, nothing beats the HDs, as theyre only a little bit more than a set of koni strut replacements.

UAS is ok too, but also slow. Believe it or not i got mine from the toyshop... i was lazy and wanted them then and there.

the guy at work is not much of an online person, gets on rarely only if i direct him somewhere, he was going to get some from the toyshop, pretty much $1000 for a set of TEIN fully ajustables 2nd hand... arriving soon. So if theres no other place i should really direct him then i guess the loacal importer is a good a place as any.
