In early 2004 when i was on my L's, and i was thinking bout buying a car. It came down to a VL Turbz or a RX7.
Jarrod said to me that he would never work on a Commo, so he suggested that a RX7 would be better. So we started to look for some early modlel Rx7's, I wanted a Series2 or 3. the 1st few we looked at were P.O.S's! I got so disappointed, then Jarrod heard at work of some guy who had one in his shed n was going to sell it... so we went and looked at it, it was an unregoed, faded 1/2 painted red s2, with no interior and doors or a bonnet, and it was Automatic! Again i was so upset, but Justin (the guy who had it), got the key and said "she still goes". When i heard the clean crisp Brap! I had this smile from ear to ear.... n sed ill buy it.... We were going to get SAD12A plates because of wat it looked like, but this car was soooo crazily fast for wat it was, the engine was still 22yrs old!
It was painted blood red, it has 666 as the chasis number, wasnt regoed for 13 yrs, and it used to only start wen it wanted it wanted too. We then knew that this car deserved WKD12A plates...
What Wicked was like when i bort her:
Stock 22 year old engine,
Lots of Interior Parts missing,
No Bonnet or Doors,
3 Speed Automatic,
Boggy Home made Extractors,
Saggy 22 yr ol suspension,
No Rego.
What we have done to Wicked: ;D
2 & 1/2 inch exhaust system,
Racing Flow Extractors,
Extend Port 12A,
with lightened and balanced 12A turbo rotars,
12A turbo apex seals,
Racing Oil Pump,
Lightened and Balanced fly Wheel,
Series 3 5speed gearbox,
Larger Jets in Carby,
Concept 5 light weight wheels in shadow chrome,
Manual 3.9 diff centre,
Lowered Pedders springs,
15% black Tinted Windows,
Black Interior,
Black Rebolsted Bucket Seats,
Momo Black/Red Race Steering Wheel,
Trust/Grex/GReddy Shifter,
Autometer Monster Tacho,
Autometer Vacuum Guage,
Autometer Oil Temp Guage,
Kenwood Cd Player n Speakers,
Jarrods Custom Cold Air intake,
K&N Air Filter,
Finished the Paint,
What else I want to do to Wicked:
Finish Interior,
Put some Super Low King Springs,
Stiffer Shocks (KYB?),
Get my Airconditioning fixed,
Race Down at Easton Creek,
Maybe Learn how to drift,
Turbo and inject the engine,
Paint her Mazda High Velocity Red.
So far She has Pumped out 122rwhp, not bad for a 12A (the 2nd best Jon at Rx has seen) with a stock carby, and ran a 14.8 on a gtech.
im so happy with what i have done to her, and how far she has come....
Thanx to my Beautiful Boyfriend Jarrod for all his hard work, Pete and Bruce for there knowledge on rotars, Jon at Rx Engineering for the tune, Warren at Phills Rotary for building a gun engine, Jarrods n my neighbours and parents for putting up with exsessive noise (Brap, Brap), and you guys for letting me be part of Royal Drift.... ;D
p.s i love my boobies
