it all started in december 1988, wen an old man purchesed a red non turbo mazda rx7. afta many years, an oxidisation of paint, n rusting of the sunroof. a young dick cheese bort it of the old man, painted it n decided to throw a 13bt bridge port. this engine lasted many runs on the drag strip, to be finally blown up n sold off cheap as to mazsport. mazsport then stripped it of its bridge port, n exhaust, to replace it with a mazsport special of a concoction of parts found on the workshop floor. then sold off to another dick cheese who bort this for an arm and a leg... $17000 , then this is wen i cum in to it, i bort it of this guy, for $10000. only to find that it wuld have a life span of 2 weeks, so i then bort an import s5 13bt for, it then lasted 4 days till the boost spiked n blew the rear apex seal. i got a seal kit for free (being under warrenty), so i put it to gether, this time it lasted a month, before the engine was found to be flooded(due to faulty torque rench)! so then she was re tighted again, only to blow 3 weeks later, this time the front apex seals.
so these are the new specs to day:
s513bt, microtech ltx8, s5 turbo gearbox, hiflowed s4 turbo, str8 threw 3inch exhaust with twin cannons, s5 lsd, 12a turbo injectors, 500hp walbro fuel pump, super low kingsprings with kyb shocks, 16x8 jap wheels, heavy duty exeedy clutch, front mount intercooler. n still has rust in the sun roof....
it has come a long way n taken a long time, an a lot of heartache to get where it is today, i wanna thank, pete jesse, chris, and my love of my life bridge for geting the funds, and a lot of time organising al my parts, getting them cheap for me!!! and getting me to work everyday...
it will be sideways soon....
