ah i didnt even notice your reply ellis... I recorded a sound clip on my phone but it was way too loud with no exhaust so the sound clip was just a muffled fuzz. Runs and drives well now, basically done just need to sort out getting it re-registered off boost response absolutely shizzles on the 1G which is exactly what i was after, w00t

99% all good now, i just had the map sensor plugged into a vacuum line that was shared by boost controller and boost guage, apparently it needs to be on its on vacuum line.
does skids way too easily

well its friday and i dont want to do any work so quick update.
after 4 months off the road she finally has an engineer certificate and a blue slip, just have to fork out the money for rego and it's on the road!
im just stoked nothing has broken and everything works, especially the clutch. If i can do it, anyone can do it! 1JZ engine conversion for the win

I saw this car at newcastle auto salon, Very tidy.
Im just wondering what you did with all the left over bit from the front cut. Ive got a JZA70 and the front end parts would not go astray.

i sold all the left over panels, intercooler and all that jazz to another royal drift guy. I think he's got a few half cut panels and left overs now so if you need any bits send me a msg and i'll pass it onto him
