As far as i know, only 1st gen 4AGZE (from AW11) and US Spec 4AGEU (AE86) have an AFM.
Could be wrong but thats as far as i know.

To be honest i very highly doubt a airflow equiped ecu will run a bigport engine (which is map sensored), injector impedence might be wrong, and then the ecu has to turn on and off the TVIS, which it knows next to nothing about.
Sounds like you have found a 100kw fwd ecu and loom, and i doubt it'll work the bigport without some mods.

well had to get my car towed home from work today and it doesnt seem to healthy. i need to put this new engine in. i have a computer but i dont know if it works or not. still dont have a loom. does any one have a loom that will make this engine work?? it has a rwd manifold on it. this engine is not a fwd modified one.

Yes i can get you a rwd loom.
But it's in Sydney just gotta get it up here, shouldnt be too hard.
Just say the word.
Can you tell me the pin count on the ecu, it should be a 3 plug ecu but how many pins per plug.
If the motor is a RWD as you were told, it'll be something like 10-18-14, should be on the ecu sticker, if not just count.

yeah the pin count is 10-18-14 it is . i live in central coast and i can easily get to syd if i can get your number i will give you a call and we can go from there.

He lives out near Cmpbelltown town btu works all over the city so may need to organise something with him.
Funny thing is, he is on the Central Coast today, i wonder if he brought it with him.
