I have great footage of drift days i need to put on the computer. But i don't know how to extract it from the digital camera.

What sort of camera? What outputs? USB? Firewire (ie1394 or somthing it's called). If you can use firewire to capture the video, on the only camera i ever use the USB downloads are shizzleE quality. Firewire ftw.

yeah firewire is the best for video, most digital video cameras will have firewire connection these days... i've got a firewire card at home if you get stuck

I actually find the windows video editor not to bad. Sure it doesn't do much fancy stuff (so you have to actaully make a good vid instead of just doing lots of lame effects) and it's pie to use. It sounds crappy just using the built in video editor in windows but hey if it aint broke...
