I can't express my anger towards the stupidity behind double demirits and the fact that 5km/h over equals 6 points   GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!! But please take it easy and dont become a statistic. And please don't give the government anymore revenue. Save it and put it into your drift beast ;D |

damn thats a few points, i really gotta book into the rta and get my full licence, im well overdue for it, plus the extra points/speed limit would be a relief.

Anyone else noticed that the points for 0-15 is the same as 15-30k's over the limit? (at least in double demerits?)
If you're in a hurry to get somewhere... farkit, if you're gonna get busted the same amount of points, just go for it...

i hate the way nsw is so over-policed... several independant studies have shown that in most cases if ppl are left to drive the speed they feel comfortable with, usually between 10-15 km over the limit, on main roads anyway, they have fewer issues as far as accos and road rage. of course these have all been covered up as a result of the massive revenue that speeding fines raise.
and, has anyone actualy considered that as cars have beter active and passive safety features, yet limits have only DECREASED over the last 20 years???... i hate the demerits and fines system thats in place and feel they should be abolished!
A "Drift points" system is what is sorely needed! With demerit points and fines for poor drifts, and prize money and extra points for massive linked corners... anyway, thats my rant. join me in my crusade! - btw, ive been drinking...

AHAHA, this is gold... i second that system, lets face it, a better driver is a safer driver. So if are a confident and controlled driver, then u will be able to link corners, making u a safer driver and hence should be rewarded, those who cant drive for shizzle, should be fined as they are poor drivers and make the roads a dangerous place. lol. |
