Hey guys, Just letting you know that I have registered tonight and I drive a cressida grande and I am keen To start drifting. I will be getting some lowered springs for it soon but dont know what ones to get. There are king springs 2 inches lower but I dont know if they are any good. Is there anyone on here that drifts a cressida that can shed some advice?

...any upgraded springs will seem shizzle if you dont change the stock comfort-spec struts too. Youd actually get better handling if you left the springs stock and upgraded your dampers, compared to changing springs alone. Having a hard spring rate and soft strut combo will make the ride seem harsh and can cause bouncing. It doesnt really do anything for the car besides lowering it. You can actually get king springs wound to almost any rate you like and theyre still quite cheap. Do both springs and struts and itll be a massive change.
Friend of mine has tein coilovers and they dont feel any harder than upgraded lowering springs on adjustable struts. Be careful with what you buy, especially if its for road use as well.
The main difference between most coiver springs and standard springs is that their spring rate is linear (same al the way through the wind) Standard replacement springs usually have softer windings towards the ends for ride quality. Again, if you get springs made you can specify how you want the wind.
Just one more bit of info - dont buy struts/coilovers second hand. Itll cost you more in the end.

King springs are good when your starting but you will get sick of them just get coilovers to save the hassel later.
