i love the words. =o)

the borders look more chinese than japanese. i've done some visual research to what i believe will add more japanese essence into our logo.


Bold printing of White words, preferably in the same font size but without dithering of edges i believe. Adding prints like the one in the background does add a very japanese flavor to it because of the bamboo like font

As evident of many japanese designs, sakuras,leaves, stems all play a big part in the natural base of japanese art

Lines in Japanese Art are concise and stop at intended points instead of continuing like Chinese patterns. which is why i mentioned the borders looked more chinese than japanese. This picture shows the clean-cut and deliberate lines which makes japanese design a fine art.

Zen lines would definitely make for a great japanese look

This picture features the 2 main components of the Japanese appreciation of nature with it's focus on the Tree(Bonsai Lookalike) and the Mountains in the background.

but in japanese, it kinda reads like Happy New Year.

so please be careful with what you put. hahaha you don't wanna be like a japanese person chasing modern fashion putting english words on your T-shirt that mean funny things. hahaha
