i was wondering if anyone knows if you are allowed to compete in drift events with nitrous-oxide. gotta be the best way to get a power-over-drift hapnen. I LOVE the stuff, best invention ever! i was thinking bout leaving the r31 auto and mild. and just giving it some happy gas say 150hp in 3 shots. but dunno if they'll let me compete at oran park. does each track have its own entry rules, or is that govened by cams?

they might let u have it, but would it really be practicle? i mean its wired in to work at WOT only is it not?, this would really hinder its usefullness for drift, where throttle regulation is essential. Also the effects it would have on ur engine would surely shorten its life. Lets just say if it was a good idea, the japs would have been doing it ages ago.

Some d1 cars have it but i am totally against NOS. I think it is the cheap and tacky way out. You can run it off the throttle so as when you press 100% throttle it will come on instead of using a button. But remember drifting isn't about power. Its about balance and skill.

plus it would b to expensive, its a couple hundred 2 refill your bottle, it only lasts about 15 to 20 mins on an average size bottle. so mite as well save that money 4 a rb20 much more practicle ahhhh boost ;D

A few of the NA hachis and most notably Kazama's S15 have used NO2 in D1. Kazama did blow his motor using it though. I think on the hachis it has been used a bit since they lack power even from the heavily worked 4As but in Kazama's case i think it was a stopgap to get some extra power. Certainly with your R31 all you need to drift successfully is a manual and a locked diff, i've seen it done many times very successfully. I doubt anyone will care if you run it in a comp tho.
