does the battery box have to be engineered once moved to the boot,any help would be great

i have a friend that has done this in another car, not sure if he engineered it, but ill find out if he knows if ur supposed to or not. Will be in contact. Chris

Make a nice little stainless steel box for it and position it in the corner and it would look nice. But place it on the pasenger side of the car.

my understanding is you dont need an engineers cert. if it replacement part is already ADR compliant. but if u do the custom thing then u prob will. if u just stick with a ADR compliant battery box. (even supercheap has then) then the police really cant say anything, that is what they're for.. well my understanting anyway. if your gunna do an engine swap or something get it aproved then... get EVERY thing aproved then. just to reduce harassment from the boys in blue.

i moved my battery into my boot ages ago, no box and it is tired wid zip tires! ;D

anymod technically needs to be engineered, si if a cop wants to give you a hard time he will defect you for it.
