Not really drift related, but a friend of mine has a car with very wide tyres up front like 295s or something maybe wider, the car has no power steering, he'd like to keep the car with no power steering but its a pain when it comes to parking or turning tyres on the spot,so we've come up with a concept of using an electronic power steering system, speed adjustable type or one that can be completely switched off, I've done some research into it and know they exist in all types of cars but cant seem to find anywhere thats sells components etc, and I'm stumped when it comes to thinking of a place in Oz that I could go to for this kinda gear... any ideas?

hmm.. why not just run smaller tyres on the front? make sure the wheels are the correct offset, bigger steering wheel = lighter steering.
Having said that, what type of car is it, that will determine availability of parts and interchangeability with power steering variants. Electrically controlled power steering will still require a power steering rack (totally different from a non power steering one).
