What a week. Poor old Evan is a bit shaky...Brockie once told him to "Live the dream"... He's been my hero for over 40 years ...rallycross, Le Mans ,Bathurst 9 times, done the lot...and killed by a stinkin' Ford! We are all in shock. RIP..Legend.

Its so sad, I envy Evan having a recent chance to talk to him. Last time I was face to face with him was when I was like 8 and chucking a tantrum because Brockie had banana cake and no chocolate in his caravan thingy. Its beyond sad he's gone and it feels like there is now a massive void in the world... I grew up with him through my father... heavily into motorsports and the V8 scene. So a childhood hero of mine is gone... I guess it also brings to light one of the darker ultimate truths about the dangers of any motorsport... which we often take for granted...
P.S. We a Ford hater Mr Daley? lol

P.S. We a Ford hater Mr Daley? lol For the record I loathe Holdens tooo....the V8 Supercars is a dinosaur class with no class!..Drifting is so much more exciting to watch. Brockie used to excite the racing scene...he was rated a few years ago as one of the top 20 most exciting drivers in the world... When we spoke with him during Evan's Eastern Creek Monaro experience it was like HE knew us for years. The charisma he had was just unworldly... My brother (who is 53 years old) has not stopped crying since he heard the news, it's strange how Brock was so much of our growing up...I guess I would be the same except I have experienced a greater personal loss 3 years ago this month...it seems September will be even harder to bare for Evan....in the future. I have 40 years of idolising Brockie...just a little YODA advice remember young notofuspeed that you too are not invincible!

Ah thats what I meant by the last lil comment... Its a extremely sad reminder that even the best of the best can fall casualty. So obviously with my (lack of) driving skill... of course Im far from invicible... I never believed myself at any point to be. I apologise if it was taken on the wrong note as it seemed it might have been.
