Drifting being judged

I am getting a bit tired of drifting being about judging, and points.
It should be like when we all started ... FUN
I think theres too much bias with judges and its a bit like the basketball movie where everything starts off cool but becomes too big and people get big heads about it all lol

...As for the results, I won’t make a fuss of the FINAL 8 drivers all being from Formula Drift… statistically this was bound to probably happen anyway. Overall if this tournament checks its judging and re-focuses its international driver recognition then its bound to be a success. As for this years event? Well I guess it was a victory to Red Bull, both ways. A congratulations to Rhys Millen for being the most consistent driver, now also the world’s best drifter?

I agree. And lets not forget with this particular sport (as in F1) the deeper the pockets, the better the car, and subsequently the better the driver performs.
Cause lets face it (i might get flamed here) - once someone knows the basics, how good you are, and how quickly you improve really depends on the car & setup. No one can get near D1 level when they are out there trying to compensate for the shortcomings of a poor setup...
