nice car. gotta love jap imports..they all come with good brand name gear. I wouldnt bother with thermo fans. the standard clutch fan does a good job of keeping engine temps stable. ive heard of a lot of cases that have run into heating problems when replacing the clutch fan with thermo ones on FCs. the clutch fan shroud also helps a great deal in directing air flow thru the radiator. Unless your engine temps are creeping too high i would leave it. U know wat they say, if it aint broke dont fix it.

I agree, people are like well if i put thermos on there is no drag on the engine right, so thats free power yeah? Wrong, thermos draw electricity and alot of it, the load just goes onto your alternator and you can usually feel the engine slow a little when the thermo fans kick in. Can't make a fan blade spin around for no power loss, not possible, the power to move the blade still comes from your engine pretty well.

i made around 240 hp at the wheels thats around 240 kw at the motor with the standard top mount, in hotter months its not that great you only get about 1 or 2 good power squirts then she all heats up and you can notice the big power difference ;D

I helped jarrod do his clutch, i.e remove gearbox. I took us one evening, about 5 hours overall i think in pete's garage. His exhaust got in the way, so urs might not. Other than that its pretty straight foward. Obviously jarrod knew what he was doing and i just undid bolts on instruction. Certinally not overly hard, but not very nice on a garage floor either.
