Chasers don't really need to lose to much weight, they drift quite well with minimal mods. I've seen alot left as autos as well, there is a guy in IDA who drifts his JXZ90. Only mods so far are coilovers all round and a mech LSD. It's got big things planned but it works just fine as is.

thanx for the positive comments guys.
i havent had a proper go at drifting yet, but it is common for me to do the power oversteer out of corners which anybody can do. the thing that intimidates me most about drifting is actually getting the car crossed up before the corner you are drifting. abit of practice and confidence i should be right though. i just very recently got my hands on a set of 16inch Volk Racing rims, so im ken to chuck some cheap tyres on and have some fun.
in my possesion i also have a Blitz K27 turbo, manifold and 45mm wastegate. asmuch as i would like to put it on i dont want to lose reliability and drivability as this is my everyday drive car. so at this point i am undecided to wether i will do this single turbo conversion

Come to a track day, the lack of gutters, cops and oncoming traffic is good for the confidence levels

i have blown a seal on my back turbo, so i think time has come to do the Blitz K27 single turbo conversion now

the Chaser is now off the road. should be back in around 4wks time with the single turbo. ;D looks like i have picked myself up an N14 pulsar hatch as a run-around car in the meantime

Toyota Nationals Inc. are having a dyno day at Scott's Dyno Islington today and my car will be making a debut in the afternoon. keen to see the power i will be making. i am unsure what spring is in the 45mm gate so i wouldnt have a clue how much boost yet.
