Hayden isn't a member of Initial Drift, although he is friends with a few of us. He asked me to ask one of the council members of Initial Drift for some promotional material to approach the owner of a go-kart track with. The council members are in the midst of trying to arrange for events to be held at a go-kart track in Wollongong and if this is successful then there is talk of following suit in Newcastle. But at the moment its just Hayden talking to the owner of the track and passing on a media pack that IDA has given him to explain what drifting is all about.

It would probably be a good idea for a local club to get involved in organising things, to show that the proposal has local support.

How many of you guys have your cars already set up for drifting? Cause getting approval seems to be half the battle the other half is keeping it going. Needs to be lots of people getting out on the track. I'll talk to the IDA council members about you guys, see if we can get a joint cruise happening or something. Or if you come down for the next Eastern Creek practice day sometimes I have a BBQ at my place afterwards maybe you guys can come along  |

i'm always ready for drifting but engtine will shat itself...but hopfully by the time it is go ahead i should b rite.
we need help from the guys from IDA as they have more public support i reckon.
