siiiiiick hopefully the kart club agrees. no apart from a few people realise how freak out keen i am for drift to come to newcastle. just think of the expenses saved from going to sydney every friday/saturday/sunday to drift ;D oh no i think im going to feint at the thought of drift in newy. brendan it may also make me set up a track drifter and have a sleeper for the street

So what's the go? Is the guy from IDA doing anything? Is the kart track perhaps to lazy to reply? Maybe in light of the recent higher profile of drift they would be keener? Is anyone chasing this up?

Man he is all talk... Or its still being deliberated. My mate talked to a chick on the board and she said for it to come to pass, there would need to be no damage to the kitty litter and the track. So it looks glim. I should organise a trip over to the head of the place and see whats going on.

Yeah see what you can do, i'll be happy to help out although i don't know the first thing about organising something like this. Damage to the track is unlikely, damage to the kittylitter seems a little odd, the kittylitter at oran can have multiple cars plough through it without looking any different (or do kart tracks use finer stuff cos karts are little?). Doesn't sound like this IDA guy is doing anything much. If you need me to do somthing give us a hoy.

hey guys new member to the forum pages.
Im from the central coast and checking out the drift scene in newy as it sucks on the coast.
I think its a mad idea of trying to get drift to cameron park as its a mission to get to oran park.
should go over and try it out just been for a cruise up to newy yesterday theres plenty of import cars if you could rig it im sure there plenty of cars willing to participate
good luck with it we need somewhere closer than sydney to drift without doing it illegally ;D
