I own an fc, and want to drift, just a begginer, just owned the car for a few weeks, so I want to get some other rims and tyres so I dont stuff the ones I've got on the car, being a beginer I wasn't sure, what size rim I should look for and tyre size, profile etc width and dia of rim etc, the car has 16 x 7 or 8's on it already not real sure they are yokohama avs' tein coil overs all round and strut braces front and rear not sure what else is done to the suspension, those are from what I can see (dont know what I'm looking at most of the time) is done to the suspension.

ive got 4 s14/r33 rims... 16"s the offset is shocking but they fit; and spin lol
im not sure how they'd go but new falcoons have 16" steelies so you could try some wreckers... id imagine the offset would be heaps better than nissan rims

from what i've been told the s14 and r33 offsets are supposed to be pretty close guess they aren't, I've also been told that toyota has a similar offset (soarer i think)

the s14 rims i have sit inside the guards way too far... which i spose isnt a bad thing... it just looks silly

maybe thats the best option at the moment, wont hurt to keep looking though, do you know what sort of off set that would be ideal for the fc though?

u dunno acutal figures... i just know that the nissan ones sit too far inside the guards... thats good for burnouts but cause less rubber sprays on your guards... and the belts have less chance of taking paint off the outside of the guards too i spose

turboj is getting narrower rear tyres this time around... the fat ones on the back look good... but there shizzle for performance

Why going narrower? You got poo heavy shizzle rims on the back ay? Get some light wide rims, wider track will help a little with drifting (or any other kind of driving really) and look alot less pov to.
