oh yes, on the topic of maintenance. does anyone have the software to record data?

trg automotive in cardiff is our local tuning shop pete knows his shizzle. ...as for servicing, save yourself 100 bucks and change the plugs, oil and filters yourself, and get trg to do your timing belt/chain (im assuming you dont have an rx7).

Will have a word to the guys i know that work at nissan, im sure we can work something out with them.
On TRG topic.. the dyno tune i got done there was below average, good power figure, but theres a spot just under 2k rpm that isnt right... anyway i heard they were good, but recently me and Steve have not been to impressed by them.

...theyve made a few muckups on mine over the times ive gone there but were always happy to fix it for free. In any case, their dyno time is dirt cheap when compared to a lot of other places, so ill live with having to take it back occasionally to save a few hundered in setup costs... meh, im really not sure now. like i said the other day we should just open a tuning shop... for drift cars

TRG is on the same road as the workers club in cardiff. pennlburry or something like that. can someone correct me please. but yeah my school bus goes past there and they always seem to have some nice cars there. ive seen an FC rx7 there before and an old celica with a HUGE 'cooler on the front and also the purple silvia with nuber plates PURPLE seen that there as well. do as much as you can yourself. save some money for tyres.

hey leonard, just spoke to the guys at nissan, and well im wrong as usually, major services are every 40,000ks on SR20DET's, so they either did it at 80k or its beeen missed, either way ud be up for a normal 5k service.. but u might wanna ask if the guy that owned it did the major at 80k.

I thought $130 an hour was about what everyone charged. I have only been there once (to check mixtures on a remapped ECU) and they were friendly enough. Car ran a crap figure though, i've got the engine out now changing big ends (SR20DET), and while i'm at it i'm looking for restrictions etc. Only pulled 208hp@rw, it should have run around 250hp or so. Even given thay dynos don't give you an absolute figure it's way to low (and feels the same as before i changed turbo, injectors, AFM .
